SPG Guide to Success for Architects: online and offline networking

Tuesday 19th June 9.30am – 1.30pm The Hub, 113-115 Portland Street, Manchester M1 6DW

Thinking of starting up your architectural practice or want to improve your business skills? Join the RIBA NW Solo Practitioner’s Group whose industry insiders will share their tips for success.

The workshop aims to provide best practice in business for architects. During the recession, many architects have been made redundant and quite a few have started their own practice. If small practices, solo practitioners and start-ups have the tools they need to start, they are best placed to grow and survive in business today. The SPG can provide a valuable network of peers to help.

During this first SPG Guide to Success for Architects we will hear from: Christian Hill of Project Simply about web design and optimization, Louis Alexander of Go Social about social media, and Isla Wilson of Ruby Star Associates about successful networking. Rounded off by networking over lunch by Create Catering the award winning social enterprise.
